Terrell, Texas — The Terrell Economic Development Corporation proudly announces that Carlton Tidwell has been appointed as Vice-Chair of the North Central Texas Workforce Development Board. This distinguished role places him at the forefront of workforce planning and policy guidance for the 14-county region, which spans 12 Texas Workforce Centers, making it one of the largest workforce boards in Texas.
As Vice-Chair, Carlton will support the Board’s mission to drive regional workforce development, focusing on enhancing employment opportunities, providing strategic oversight, and shaping policy for the region’s workforce services. The North Central Texas Workforce Development Board is one of 28 such boards in Texas, playing a crucial role in uniting leaders from private business, economic development, chambers of commerce, education, labor, and community organizations. Workforce board members are selected by chief elected officials and represent the interests and priorities of their respective communities.
