Job Description: 

The Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for analyzing, researching, interpreting, and reporting complex financial data.  This Analyst is heavily involved in monthly and quarterly close processes, year-end audit preparation, budget planning, strategic reports, and assigned projects such as financial software implementation, improvement and administration.

As a member of the Financial Reporting Team, the Senior Accounting Analyst supports efforts in improving financial processes, ensuring reporting accuracy, and building relationships in the organization that achieve these goals.


Hours/Days of Work: 

Full Time

Responsibilities Include: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required (24+ hours of accounting preferred)
  • 3-5 years' accounting experience and management accounting experience is preferred
  • Advanced Excel, Modeling, Data Manipulation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines for all financial reporting
  • Advanced experience in MS Access and SQL Database; ability to write code
  • Analytical abilities financial acumen, problem solving skills, initiative, business mastery
  • Ability to effectively work with others; strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions within a delegated authority
  • Knowledge of GAAP and other applicable regulatory rules
  • Knowledge of MPC Software is preferred
  • Financial Statement Analysis Experience and Forecast/Planning experience is preferred
